Help children and families access care sooner, stay engaged in healing, and build long-term stability
Partner with The FACTS Initiative to expand access to trauma-focused mental health care for children and families in our community. Your support helps bring services directly into trusted community settings, reaching families who might not otherwise receive care.
Why Partner With The FACTS
Your support helps children and caregivers access timely, trauma-focused care in the places they already trust. Sponsorship invests in a proven local model with measurable outcomes, visible community impact, and meaningful opportunities for employee engagement.
Why Our Model Works
What makes our model so impactful? The FACTS Initiative delivers trauma-focused, culturally responsive mental health care directly in trusted community settings across Charlotte-Mecklenburg. Instead of asking families to navigate long waitlists, transportation barriers, and disconnected referrals, we bring care to the places they already turn for help. This makes it easier for children and caregivers to start therapy sooner, stay engaged, and build lasting stability.
-
We provide mental health services directly within trusted community settings, removing barriers such as transportation, waitlists, and fragmented referrals so families can access care more easily.
-
Our clinicians use evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches tailored to each client’s needs, helping children and caregivers build coping skills, improve emotional well-being, and support long-term healing.
-
We support not only individual mental health, but broader family stability by helping caregivers and children stay engaged in services, strengthen relationships, and navigate challenges more effectively.

What This Looks Like in Practice
A family connected to FACTS through The Harvest Center was navigating housing instability, trauma, and daily stress. Because care was available on site, they were able to begin therapy quickly while staying connected to housing and family-support services. Over time, therapy helped strengthen coping, reduce crisis symptoms, and support the family’s movement toward greater stability.
Investing in What’s Next
As demand for services continues to grow, The FACTS Initiative is developing new programmatic approaches designed to increase sustainability and expand access to care. This next phase of our work will allow us to serve more families while strengthening long-term impact across the community. It is a critical step toward scaling our impact and building a more sustainable model for delivering care.
We are seeking partners who are interested in investing in this next stage of growth and helping expand access to mental health care in Charlotte-Mecklenburg.
