Our Mission, Vision, and Values

Our mission is to help children and families achieve social and emotional well-being by providing quality, trauma-focused, child and family mental health care in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg area.

We bring weekly, trauma-informed and culturally responsive mental health care into trusted community spaces so families can start sooner, stay engaged, and build long-term stability.

Our long-term vision is to eliminate barriers to mental wellness for underserved communities and to maintain high-quality care by ensuring our providers and staff are well-trained and cared for.

We want to see a Mecklenburg County where every family can access timely, affirming, affordable care and where healing becomes the foundation for thriving schools, steady work, and strong neighborhoods.

  1. Maintaining a culture of warmth and welcome: holistically connecting with our team and caring for each other.

  2. Serving from the one-day mindset: understanding the full implication of our interactions and remembering that every person enters that moment with a unique and intricate story.

  3. Demonstrating integrity in thought and deed: Operate openly, ethically, and conscientiously as if every motivation, plan, or action is public knowledge.

How we live our values: Our values guide every interaction with clients, partners, and each other. They shape daily decisions, from how we welcome a family to how we measure progress and steward resources.
