Our Team

Gwen Harris is a co-founder of The FACTS Initiative. A retired Army Major, she brings over a decade of experience in organizational leadership and therapeutic services. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (North Carolina), and certified in TF-CBT and ART. Gwen is also trained in CBT, IFS (in the process of certification), and Triple P Levels 3 and 5. Gwen holds a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a Bachelor’s in Psychology. When she is away from the office, Gwen enjoys doing all things creative.

Aisha Yesher-El is a Co-Founder of The FACTS Initiative. A proud Charlotte native and West Charlotte Graduate, Aisha brings a deep-rooted commitment to service and a passion for creating opportunities for healing, growth, and empowerment. Aisha earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a focus on Public Health and a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Beyond her professional work, Aisha is passionate about mindfulness, creative expression, and holistic wellness. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking, practicing yoga, traveling, and finding ways to blend creativity with community care.
